Wartburg Enterprises was the first to bring the Bumbo Seat to the U.S. market. Since 2003, we grew the Bumbo brand to make it the household name it is today. Since 2005, the owners of Wartburg Enterprises decided to carry specialty products that cater to children with special needs and their savvy parents.

The CHILDRITE Seat was conceived and designed by Wartburg Enterprises in Conroe, Texas. The seats are manufactured by hand one at a time in a facility in Fort Worth Texas.

The CHILDRITE Seat is a labor of love for the owners of Wartburg who were inspired when they saw special needs children and their therapists using the Bumbo Baby Sitter™. While the Bumbo helped many of them, other special needs children were simply too large to use it. That's why we created the CHILDRITE Seat. It is the only product we make.
